Boy Scout Bulletin

Vol. 1, No. 1, October 13, 2001

Meetings: Court of Honor, Elections, Cub Scout (Pack 460), JLT

We have elected the officers already, an important step, and have managed to get our own Scouts as the Den Chiefs for Pack 460, ahead of another troop that had been competing. We had a very successful year, with several Scouts receiving more than 4 merit badges at the Court of Honor. The Cub Scouts are doing well; we have had 2 pack meetings so far. The more recent one was the 'Campfire', where the dens each did skits. The Junior Leader Training (JLT) was this morning, from 9 to 2, and the upcoming events were planned out.

Next meeting, October 15th, is on fire starters, presented by Philippe Pradel.
The meeting after, on October 22nd, is model rocketry, with Alex Kovacic and Peter Morris.
The upcoming campout is on November 17-18.
There is no Troop Committee meeting scheduled before October 30th, apparently, when it will be at Mr. Cleland's.
